Zilker Botanical Garden...We visited Austin's Zilker Park in October 2000—out of season for flowering plants. The gardens were lovely, nevertheless, and we had a great time walking through them anyway. We didn't take a dip in the park's famous swimming hole—Barton Springs. As it's name implies, the pool is spring fed and remains at a relatively constant temperature year round. Zilker is truley an excellent park, and I recommend you visit next time you are in Austin. |
